Make mine a dirty

One of our favorite places to go for great dirty martini’s and “nibbly bits” is the Rocks on the Roof bar at the Bohemian hotel on the river. Those of you who visit my blog regularly know that martini’s are one of my favorite things, no doubt!  ;) :)

I haven’t been posting very much these last few weeks…things have been a bit hectic. I haven’t even been on the internet to any degree, much less out shooting and later post processing. So it’s off to Chicago this week for a few days for my other half’s group show, “The Pop Show” at the Mars Gallery. This trip couldn’t come at a better time and we’re really excited about the show and are looking forward to it and exploring a new urban environment…it’s also our first trip to the windy city. I’ve been in a bit of a rut photographically lately, but no doubt, I will be giving my Leica a work-out. There’s nothing like new territory to kick it back into high gear and get the creative juices flowing again…more to come!

noxeus - A woman with a Leica in the hands is a recurring dream in some of my nights. Congratulations on your photos. They are beautiful. Greetings from the Western Mediterranean

John Maslowski - Beautiful clean image, love the simplicity and the elegance of this composition. The Bohemian hotel looks like a fantastic place to kick back and relax. Good luck on your trip to Chicago. Definitely a change of scenery will kick start your photographic creativity Susan. Everyone needs a change. I find myself spending more time looking for different shots when I keep visiting the same places all the time.
