Nice ice, baby revisited

Forsyth Park, Savannah, GA

This is a sequel to this photo that I took last year around this time. I shot this on Monday of this week and today, I am happy to say, the temperature warmed up considerably and actually reached 60 degrees here in the deep south…but it’s been a ‘mite chilly!

Jamie - I love the ice on the fountains! This shot is so cool :-)
Here in the north they typically drain the fountains during the winter.
It better warm up in the south because I head for Florida in 2 weeks!

beanow - Oh! How lovely you stopped Lady Winter …:) Really beautifully …

rian - yeah, thank goodness the cold spell’s over here.. now it’s time for the rain.. *groan* :D
i really like this capture of yours, especially the part where the water seems to be bursting out like steam.. :)

Ken - Great title and an even greater chilly image! Love those greenblues.

Marcie - So strange to see it frozen like this. Wonderful colors!!!

sherri - Very unusual for Savannah. We’ve had some colder than normal days too, but things are back where they should be. This is really gorgeous. I like how the water is still spraying.

John Maslowski - Gorgeous water fountain, especially with the ice crystals and the sparkling water. Absolutely a beautiful image.

Susan - Even though we’re in the deep south, we tend to have a good freeze or two every year…thanks everyone!
